Lake Ainsworth
Lake Ainsworth, a fresh water tea-tree lake with dark tannins from the surrounding paperbark trees. It is a popular spot with both Lennox Head locals and visitors. The lake, which covers an area of about 12 hectares, is located at the northern end of Pacific Parade.
Whale Watching
There are plenty of lookouts where you can spot whales on their annual migration along the Australian coast between May and November. As the coastline in this region juts further out to the east, the whales can often be seen just off shore. Or take a whale-watching cruise to see them up close. Dolphins often join surfers riding the waves.
